Job summary

North Yorkshire Council is recruiting a Catering Assistant for Thirsk High School. You will support the Catering Manager, serving meals to students and staff and maintaining high standards of food safety.

Hours are 11:00am–14:00pm (15 hours per week), term-time weeks only, with equal monthly payments through the year. The role offers a competitive hourly rate and DBS disclosure is required.

We are proud to offer a wide choice of healthy options to ourchildren encouraging them toWe are currently recruiting a Catering Assistant to join ourteam at Thirsk High School.

As aCatering Assistant your role will be to support the Catering Manager indelivering an effective catering service operating to the highest standards offood safety.On a daily basis you will be serving meals to students and staff,washing up and cleaning down the kitchen and dining hall, using thetills(training will be given)You will be a valued member of our friendly team who isreliable, dependable and committed, working from 11:00am to 14:00pm totalling to 15 hrs per week. No weekend work! You willwork term time weeks only however you will receive equal monthly paymentsthroughout the year. For this you will be paid £13.28 per hour in addition toannual holiday and Bank Holiday entitlement.
