Job summary

Tadley Court School is recruiting a Catering Assistant to join our team, supporting with food preparation, service and maintaining high hygiene standards in the commercial kitchen.

You will assist the Chef with meal preparation, cooking, serving and thorough cleaning, while following our Safe Catering policies. Hours are 8.30am - 1.30pm, 25 hours per week, with some flexibility on hours for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Previous experience preparing and cooking meals in a professional kitchen is desirable.
• Ability to maintain high hygiene standards in a busy kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Chef with preparation, cooking and serving of meals.
• Support thorough cleaning of all food preparation and service areas.
• Follow the school's Assured Safe Catering Policies and Procedures.

Tadley Court School is recruiting for a Catering Assistant to join our team.

We are looking for a passionate individual who can support with food preparation, service and maintain high standards of hygiene within the commercial kitchen. As a school we follow the Governments requirements for healthy eating, and we contribute to the wellbeing of our pupils. In this role, you will assist the Chef with the preparation, cooking, serving of meals and thorough cleaning of all food preparation and services areas. You will always maintain the Company's Assured Safe Catering Policies and Procedures. This role is 25 hours per week (8.30am - 1.30pm). There is some flexibility on hours for the right candidate.

Previous experience preparing and cooking meals gained within a professional kitchen environment is desirable. All applicants must already have the right to work in the UK.
