Job summary

Quantum Care in St Albans is seeking a Catering Assistant to join Fosse House, an 81-bed care home, to aid in preparing and serving nutritious meals and to create a welcoming dining experience for residents.

The role is part-time (22.5 hours/week) with weekday and some weekend work. Pay is £13.08 per hour on weekdays and £13.58 per hour on weekends, with shifts from 9am to 5pm and full training provided.

Qualifications

• A teamfocused attitude and good communication skills
• Experience in food preparation and service preferred, however full training is provided
• Familiarity with hygiene standards
• Reliability and good Customer Service skills
• A positive, caring and compassionate attitude
• Ability to follow Chefs

Contract: Part Time - Perm

We are seeking a Catering Assistant to join our Care Home in St Albans. Fosse House is a 81 bed residential care home offering residential, dementia, respite and day care services, with beautifully landscaped gardens, a vibrant activities programme, and a warm, person-centred environment that helps residents live life to the fullest.

As a Catering Assistant you will support the preparation and serving of nutritious meals, and help create a welcoming dining experience that promotes residents health, wellbeing and dignity.
