Job summary

Compass Group UK & Ireland is seeking a dedicated Barista in Southampton to deliver expertly crafted coffees and first-class service. You will work full-time, roughly 37.5 hours per week, contributing to a welcoming customer experience and maintaining high standards across the bar area.

The ideal candidate will bring strong communication skills, prior customer service experience and a proactive approach to learning about brewing methods and beverage presentation.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with beverage preparation and customer service.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced barista environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare blended drinks and serve high-quality beverages to customers.
• Keep the bar area clean and organized, including equipment.
• Receive and process payments (cash and card) accurately.
• Be an enthusiastic team player and clear communicator.
• Maintain stock of cups, mugs and beverage ingredients.
• Learn brewing methods, blends and presentation techniques.
• Check brewing equipment works properly and report maintenance needs.
• Represent CH&CO and uphold a positive brand image.
• Adhere to Food Handling and Health & Safety standards.

We're currently recruiting a driven Barista to help us create beautifully crafted drinks for CH&CO on a full-time basis, contracted to 37.5 hours per week. As a Barista, you will use your skills to deliver first-class service and perfectly crafted coffees to our customers. • Preparing perfectly blended drinks and serving high-quality food that delights our customers
• Keeping the bar area clean
