Job summary

CH&CO, part of Compass Group UK&I, is seeking a driven Barista in Manchester to craft beautifully blended coffees and deliver first-class service. This full-time role (37.5 hours per week) offers opportunities to progress within a people-focused company that values individuality and recognises employees who go beyond the plate.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service

Responsibilities

• Prepare drinks and serve high-quality beverages
• Keep the bar area clean and presentable
• Process payments (cash and card) accurately
• Be an enthusiastic team player and effective communicator
• Maintain stock of mugs, plates and other barware
• Learn brewing methods, beverage blends and presentation techniques
• Check brewing equipment and report maintenance needs
• Represent CH&CO and uphold the brand image
• Comply with food handling, hygiene and health & safety standards

We're currently recruiting a driven Barista to help us create beautifully crafted drinks for CH&CO on a full time basis, contracted to 37.5 hours per week. As a Barista, you will use your skills to deliver first-class service and perfectly crafted coffees to our customers. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Preparing perfectly blended drinks and serving high-quality food that delights our customers
• Keeping the bar area clean
• Receiving and processing payments (cash and credit cards)
• Being an enthusiastic team player and excellent communicator
• Maintaining stock of clean mugs and plates
• Learning about brewing methods, beverage blends, food preparation and presentation techniques
• Check if brewing equipment operates properly and report any maintenance needs
• Representing CH&CO and maintaining a positive brand image
• Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards
• Complying with Health & Safety regulations
