Job summary

Gather + Gather is recruiting a Barista to craft beautifully crafted drinks for CH&CO on a part-time basis (18 hours per week). You will deliver first-class service, operate a fast-paced bar, and grow with a company that invests in its people and recognises exceptional contributions.

You will learn brewing methods, maintain a clean work area, handle payments, and work closely with the team to ensure customer satisfaction while upholding CH&CO’s brand values.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience is preferred.
• Excellent communication and friendly demeanor.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
• Reliable with strong timekeeping.

Responsibilities

• Prepare beverages and serve high-quality food to customers.
• Keep the bar area clean.
• Process cash and card payments.

• Manage stock of cups and utensils.

• Check equipment and report maintenance.

We're currently recruiting a driven Barista to help us create beautifully crafted drinks for CH&CO on a part time basis, contracted to 18 hours per week. As a Barista, you will use your skills to deliver first‑class service and perfectly crafted coffees to our customers. Your key responsibilities will include

• Preparing perfectly blended drinks and serving high-quality food that delights our customers
• Keeping the bar area clean
• Receiving and processing payments (cash and credit cards)
• Being an enthusiastic team player and excellent communicator
• Maintaining stock of clean mugs and plates
• Learning about brewing methods, beverage blends, food preparation and presentation techniques
• Check if brewing equipment operates properly and report any maintenance needs
• Representing CH&CO and maintaining a positive brand image
• Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards
• Complying with Health & Safety regulations
