Job summary

Aramark UK are currently recruiting two Mobile Catering Assistants to join the team at NESCOT College, KT17 3DS. This permanent role runs Monday to Friday, 32 hours per week, with hours between 8am-4pm and term time only (36 weeks).

Qualifications

• Food safety and hygiene knowledge required.

Responsibilities

• Serve food and beverages to customers following brand standards and answer questions about products.
• Perform basic cold food preparation and made-to-order services including hot sandwiches.
• Take payment and keep financial records as required.
• Restock goods and ensure displays are well presented.
• Clean back-of-house areas, crockery and cutlery when trained to do so.
• Clean and tidy counter, light equipment and public areas.
• Report feedback, complaints, stock needs, faults or hazards to the line manager.
• Carry out daily paper/computer work as assigned.
• Keep diligent records as required.
• Follow food hygiene and safety procedures in line with health and safety requirements.

Job Responsibilities

• Serve food and beverages to customers following prescribed methods of portioning, presentation and combinations in line with brand standards and answer questions about the products
• Perform basic cold food preparation and made to order services including hot sandwiches in line with Aramark brand standards
• Take payment and keep financial records as required
• Restock goods and ensure appropriate displays of merchandise
• Clean back of house areas, crockery and cutlery using equipment when trained to do so
• Clean and tidy counter, light equipment and public areas
• Report to line manager any feedback, complaints, suggestions, stock needs, breakages, faults or hazards identified during the workday
• Perform daily paper/computer work she/he is assigned
• Keeps diligent records as required
• Follows food hygiene and safety procedures in line with health and safety requirements
