National Star is seeking a Catering Assistant to join our team providing a full catering service to our students. This term-time post is 40 hours per week with alternate weekends and shift patterns from 7:30am–3:30pm and 10:30am–6:30pm. You may be asked to work extra hours as required.

Responsibilities include food preparation, serving, keeping kitchen and equipment clean, assisting the chef, and handling cash.

Qualificações

• Previous experience in catering or kitchen assistant role.
• Basic Food Hygiene Certificate desirable.
• Term-time only post; 40 hours per week.
• Alternate weekends required; shifts vary.

National Star is looking for an enthusiastic and efficient Catering Assistant to join our team providing a full catering service to our students.

This is a term time only post comprising of 40 hours per week,including alternate weekends with 7.30am - 3.30pm and 10.30 am - 6.30 pm shifts. You may be asked to work additional hours or different shifts according to the needs of our students.

Working as an important part of the team, you will perform various duties including some food preparation, serving food, keeping the equipment and work areas clean, assisting the chef with the smooth running of the area, cash handling.

Previous experience in a catering / kitchen assistant role(ideally in residential care or school environment) is required for this role and a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate is desirable.
