Job summary

Aramark in Poole is seeking a Catering Assistant to create a welcoming space for customers at the RNLI Restaurant. Qualifications

• NVQ 1 and 2 qualifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work within the kitchen team of the RNLI.
• Carry out all daily cleaning in accordance with specifications.
• Work in all areas as requested in front and back of house.
• Work on a rota basis with the Kitchen Porter team.
• Collect and store deliveries, fill out appropriate paperwork.
• Move stock and light equipment for front of house.
• Report delivery issues to the Head Chef or Sous Chef.

Hours:

30 Hour Contract, Monday to Sunday

What you’ll do:

• Work within the kitchen team of the RNLI
• Carry out all daily cleaning in accordance with company and unit specifications
• Work in all areas as requested; this includes both front of house and back of house
• Work on a rota basis with the other members of the Kitchen Porter team
• Collect and store deliveries and fill out all appropriate paperwork, including Temperature Record Sheets and Delivery Records
• Store all deliveries in a correct manner, rotate stock and check deliveries for quality
• Move stock and light equipment within the building for front of house
• Bring any issues regarding deliveries to the attention of the Head Chef or Sous Chef at the time the delivery has arrived
