Aramark UK is recruiting a Catering Assistant to join the team at WQE College in LE1 7LW. This permanent role offers 30 hours per week, term-time only (36 weeks), with full training and a free meal on shift. You’ll work Monday to Friday in a welcoming hospitality team, delivering high standards of customer service and event support.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve food, snacks, and beverages to customers.
• Provide excellent customer service and respond promptly to requests.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across hospitality areas.
• Set up meeting and event rooms with refreshments and equipment.
• Clear tables and collect used crockery and service items.
• Wash and return crockery, cutlery, and equipment to designated areas.
• Monitor stock levels and replenish as needed.
• Support smooth day-to-day operation of hospitality services.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepareand serve food, snacks, and beverages to customers in a professional and friendly manner.
• Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to guest requests and enquiries.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards across hospitality areas, kitchens, and function rooms.
• Set up meeting and event rooms with refreshments, catering items, and required equipment.
• Clear tables and collect used crockery, glassware, and service items after use.
• Wash, clean, and return crockery, cutlery, and serving equipment todesignatedareas.
• Monitor and replenish stock levels of food, beverages, and hospitality supplies.
• Support the smooth day-to-day operation of hospitality services while ensuring a welcoming environment for guests.
