Job summary

Trinity Academy Leeds is seeking a Catering Assistant to join its school catering team in Leeds. You will assist with meal preparation, serving students and staff, and maintaining food safety and hygiene standards during term-time.

Hours are 22.5 per week, Monday to Friday 10:00 to 14:30, with the post lasting for term-time and additional days; the role is permanent and offers the chance to work within a forward-looking academy trust and benefit from a supportive staff environment.

Qualifications

• Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
• Experience in a catering role (paid not required).
• Knowledge of basic cooking skills.

Role Purpose

We are now looking to appoint a Catering Assistant to join the catering team. Working under the Catering Manager, you will deliver a high-quality catering service for students, staff, and visitors to the Academy, whilst ensuring high standards for health, safety, and food hygiene.

• Experience of working within a catering role (this does not need to have been in a paid role)
