Job summary

NHS Highland in Inverness is seeking a Catering Assistant to work in hospital kitchens, supporting a large team to plate patient meals and maintain a clean, safe working environment.

As a catering assistant you will be working in the hospitals busy kitchen to work as part of a large team to maintain a clean safe working environment & to assist in the plating up of all patient meals. You must have the ability to work as part of a team or on your own initiative, follow instructions and possess good communication skills.
You will be required to achieve the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.
An Elementary Food Hygiene Certificate is desirable but full training will be given.
