Job summary

NHS Highland is seeking a motivated Bank Band 2 Domestic Assistant to join the Aviemore Hospital Domestic Services team. Duties include cleaning clinics, treatment rooms, offices and public areas to maintain Infection Prevention & Control standards.

Flexible, committed candidates with a positive attitude are welcome; training is provided and enhanced rates apply for weekend and unsocial hours. Uniform and PPE are supplied, with access to the workplace pension scheme.

Qualifications

• Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland must be achieved.
• Full training will be provided for the successful candidate.
• Compliance with the Code of Conduct during employment.

Responsibilities

• Clean clinics, treatment rooms, offices and public areas to ensure Infection Prevention & Control.
• Adhere to Infection Prevention & Control guidelines and maintain hygiene standards.

Duties include cleaning within clinic & treatment rooms, offices and public areas to ensure compliance with Infection Prevention & Control.

Enhanced rates are paid for weekend work, unsocial hours work, and overnight hours.

Band 2 Bank Domestic Assistant

The hours for this post can be worked between 0800 and 2000 Monday Sunday.

Previous experience desirable although full training will be provided for the successful candidate.

You will need to be flexible, committed and have a positive attitude to your work.

You will be required to achieve the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.
