Job summary

Aramark UK are recruiting two Mobile Catering Assistants to join the team at NESCOT College. You will serve food and beverages, assist with cold prep, and take payments while maintaining brand standards.

Hours are Monday to Friday, 32 hours per week, 8am–4pm, term time only (36 weeks). Great training, apprenticeships, and clear progression opportunities are provided to develop your career.

Responsibilities

• Serve food and beverages to customers following brand standards.
• Perform basic cold food preparation and made-to-order services.
• Take payment and keep financial records.
• Restock displays and keep counters tidy.
• Clean back-of-house areas and public spaces.
• Report feedback, stock needs, faults or hazards to the line manager.
• Ensure routine administrative tasks are completed.
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times.

Job Responsibilities

• Serve food and beverages to customers following prescribed methods of portioning, presentation and combinations in line with brand standards and answer questions about the products
• Perform basic cold food preparation and made to order services including hot sandwiches in line with Aramark brand standards
• Take payment and keep financial records as required
• Restock goods and ensure appropriate displays of merchandise
• Clean back of house areas, crockery and cutlery using equipment when trained to do so
• Clean and tidy counter, light equipment and public areas
• Report to line manager any feedback, complaints, suggestions, stock needs, breakages, faults or hazards identified during the workday
• Perform daily paper/computer work she/he is assigned
• Keeps diligent records as required
• Follows food hygiene and safety procedures in line with health and safety requirements
