Job summary

Delta Wellbeing Ltd. is hiring a Catering Assistant on a 27-hour per week contract at Carmarthen Leisure Centre. You will prepare, cook and serve food and drinks while delivering top-notch front-of-house service. The role may include shifts at Canolfan Pentre Awel Llanelli as needed.

We value customer care and up-selling through product knowledge. Welsh language level 3 is required, with support to reach it if necessary.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hospitality/catering is desirable, but training will be provided.
• Level 3 Welsh; reasonable support to reach this level on appointment.

• Provide friendly, welcoming, professional and efficient service at Carmarthen Leisure Centre, with potential shifts at Llanelli as required.

We have an exciting opportunity to recruit 1 x Catering Assistant based on a 27 hour per week contract of employment within Leisure Services at Carmarthen Leisure Centre. The Catering Assistant will play a key role in helping prepare, cook and serve food and beverages whilst providing excellent front of house customer service in a friendly, welcoming, professional, and efficient service manner. This role will be based within Carmarthen Leisure Centre with additional opportunities to cover shifts at Canolfan Pentre Awel Llanelli if required.

We aim to provide the highest level of customer care within the food and beverage services. The right candidate will strive to grasp every opportunity to up-sell, by ensuring maximum sales are achieved through promotional activity and product knowledge as well as an exceptional level of front of house skills.

Previous experience in the hospitality/catering industry is desirable, but all relevant training will be provided.

Level 3 - You will need a good level of conversational Welsh. Reasonable support can be provided on appointment to reach this level
