Job summary

West Bromwich Collegiate Academy is hiring a Catering Assistant to join the school kitchen team. The role involves assisting with preparation, cooking and serving meals, plus general kitchen cleaning, on a 16-hour week schedule during term time, with two additional weeks. Immediate start is available.

• To assist with the preparation and cooking of food and refreshments.
• To assist with the care, maintenance and cleaning of all equipment in use in the kitchen as required.
• To prepare the dining room for service, including cleaning, sweeping, mopping and laying of tables when necessary

SALARY: £25,615.00 FTC (£10,096.00 Actual Salary)

HOURS: 16 hours, Term time Plus 2 Weeks

We are looking for a catering assistant who will work as part of a team assisting with the preparation, cooking, and serving of meals and refreshments and general kitchen cleaning
