St Benet Biscop Catholic Academy is hiring a part-time Catering Assistant to join our catering team from September 2026. The role covers main kitchen, Sixth Form Café and primary school provision, with reliable, organised and interpersonal candidates preferred.
The post offers a 30-hour week during term time plus six additional days, with a Living Wage supplement bringing the hourly rate to at least £13.435. Salary scales show FTE £25,185 and actual £17,624 per annum.
Catering Assistant (Permanent) Required from September 2026
We are looking to appoint a part-time Catering Assistant to add to the existing team at St Benet Biscop Catholic Academy. This is a fantastic opportunity to join our school community and we are looking for reliable people with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills who will assist in the provision of an effective and efficient catering service; supporting the catering team to provide a high quality of service to students and staff. We require someone with catering experience who is flexible; able to support in our main school kitchen, Sixth Form Café and primary school provision where necessary.
