Job Description

Asda is looking for a Trade Planning Manager to work in our Trade Planning & Category Strategy teams on a full-time and permanent basis.

This role involves partnering with buyers, owning the trade plan, and developing category strategies to support the company's growth objectives. The position reports to the Senior Trade Planning Manager and covers all channels and formats.

Responsibilities
  1. Be the point of contact with the customer team to implement the strategic trade plan across all channels.
  2. Develop the category strategy program using analytics & insight to build effective trade plans.
  3. Ensure legal and compliance messages are communicated to the customer.
  4. Develop strategic plans for space & range as part of the category strategy.
  5. Manage post-launch reviews for range changes and promotions.
  6. Collaborate with marketing coordinators on wider initiatives as needed.
About You
  • Experience in buying, category management, or trade planning.
  • Ability to work independently and within a matrix team structure.
  • Experience working with customer data to develop actionable plans.
  • Ability to handle administrative tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Conflict resolution skills, often with senior team members.
  • Influence across different levels of the business.
