Job Description

Asda is looking for a Trade Planning Manager to join our Trade Planning & Category Strategy teams on a full-time, permanent basis. You will be involved in our journey to simplify our range and proposition, working closely with buyers as a business partner to develop trade plans and category strategies. Reporting to the Senior Trade Planning Manager, your responsibilities will include translating strategic trade plans into actionable briefs, developing category strategies using analytics and insights, ensuring legal and compliance messages are communicated effectively, and managing range and space planning. You will also participate in post-launch reviews and collaborate on wider initiatives.

About You

• Experience in buying, category management, or trade planning
• Ability to work independently and within a matrix team
• Experience with customer data analysis
• Strong administrative skills and deadline orientation
• Conflict resolution skills, including with senior team members
• Influencing skills across different levels of the business
