Danone UK & Ireland is seeking a skilled Category Manager to drive the baby feeding category with priority customers. You will build category strategies, foster strong retailer partnerships, and lead range reviews to optimize distribution and shelf space.

You will analyse data to derive actionable insights, present recommendations, and collaborate across teams to deliver category vision. The role emphasizes leadership, autonomous problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement within the Danone

Responsabilités

• Co-building a category strategy with priority customer to ensure sustainable growth based on Danone Category Vision and retailer strategy
• Building strong relationships with stakeholders in priority customers to influence the Category strategy based on key insights and implement action plans
• Collaborating with retailers to run range review processes across formats from objectives to performance review
• Growing distribution and share of shelf for Danone benefiting the retailer's category
• Analyzing range reviews results and impact on category growth/decline, brand performance, customer dynamics
• Preparing and presenting category insights and recommendations
• Leading Category Education projects internally and with priority customer stakeholders
• Supporting other projects aligned to our Category Vision and objectives across channels
• Working on category projects across multiple customers
• Supporting junior team members through delivery management and coaching

Introduction & Job Detail: Responsible for building strong customer growth plans & recommendations that enable mutual benefit delivered for Danone and retail partner and driving our category vision with key strategic partners to support Danone outperformance in the Baby feeding category

Priority Customer Management

• Co-building a category strategy with priority customer to ensure their sustainable growth, based on Danone Category Vision and retailer strategy
• Building strong relationships with stakeholders in priority customers to influence the Category strategy based on key insights & put an action plan in place to deliver
• Working in advance with retailers to run range review processes across all their formats, from the objectives set up, implementation, to the performance review
• Growing distribution and share of shelf for Danone to the benefit of the retailer's category
• Analysing the results of range reviews (e.g. distribution changes, share of space, etc.) and the impact in the category (growth/decline by segment, brand performance, customer dynamics, etc.)

Category & wider Customer management

• Preparing and presenting category insight & recommendations
• Leading Category Education projects internally in collaboration with the right departments & externally with priority customer stakeholders
• Supporting other with projects aligned to our Category Vision and in reaching total objectives across all channels
• Working on category projects across multiple customers

Team Engagement & Development

• Supporting the junior members of the team through delivery management i.e., setting inspiring plans for activities and desired outcomes, engages the team on the 'why' of each project and coaching on the day-to-day challenge

Please note that the salary on offer for this position is between £48,000 - £60,000 + bonus & benefits
