Category Manager - Aftermarket Services & Operations (EV)

Job summary

VEV is seeking a Category Manager to provide day-to-day procurement support to our Aftermarket and Service & Maintenance teams. You will manage sourcing for technical services, field-service subcontractors, repair partners, spare parts and consumables to keep the fleet operational.

The role combines supplier management, negotiations and contract execution with practical operational support, including warranty recovery and urgent service requirements.

Qualifications

• 4–5 years of procurement/category management/strategic sourcing experience.
• Experience supporting service & maintenance, aftermarket or operations.
• Experience sourcing and managing technical service providers or equipment suppliers.
• Negotiation, supplier contracts and commercial evaluations.
• Knowledge of spare parts procurement and inventory replenishment (desirable).
• Experience supporting warranty claims or supplier returns (desirable).
• Nice to have ERP inventory modules experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day procurement support for the business.
• Manage sourcing for field-service subcontractors, maintenance providers, repair partners, spare parts and consumables.
• Identify, evaluate and onboard suppliers for VEV's service network.
• Negotiate pricing, terms and contracts within approved authority.
• Support inventory planning and replenishment with Service, Operations and Finance.
• Produce reporting on supplier performance, inventory availability and KPIs.
