The Very Group in the United Kingdom is seeking a Category Assistant to join our Electrical department, supporting brands like Samsung, Hisense, LG and Sony. You will help manage end-to-end product setup, forecasts and stock planning across our online retail platform.

You should have experience in retail merchandising or buying, strong Excel skills, and the ability to analyse data and communicate insights clearly. This role offers a flexible hybrid working model and access to learning resources.

Responsabilités

• Lead end-to-end product setup, through to go live and trading.
• Creating line level forecasts and order requirements in response to performance and stock holding to maximise both availability and stock efficiency.
• Manage stock through critical path management, progression and replenishment whilst identifying where price/promotional activity is required.
• Acts on pricing tools (i.e. revionics) to find matches and make pricing recommendations.
• May be involved in sourcing new suppliers or brands with ownership of range building, through forecasting, trading and promo activity.
• Produce adhoc reports for the wider category.

About The Role

We are seeking a Category Assistant to join our Electrical department, supporting our work across leading brands such as Samsung, Hisense, LG and Sony.

By integrating category management with our digital experience and marketing teams, we are able to gain deeper insights into our customers' needs. This collaborative approach empowers us to make swifter, better-informed decisions, ensuring we provide the best possible offering in the space. You'll have the chance to engage directly with some of the world's biggest brands, working alongside trading, marketing, and customer experience teams within our wider Retail group.

Your experience may stem from buying, merchandising, stock planning or a related field.

Key Responsibilities
