Job summary

DWF in Manchester is recruiting an Associate Solicitor to join our nationally recognised Catastrophic Loss team. You will handle multi-track personal injury and catastrophic loss cases for insurers and corporate clients, with values from £150,000 to £20 million.

The role is hybrid, with a requirement to attend the Manchester office at least 2 days per week. You will advise on liability, quantum and litigation strategy, draft documents, prepare for court, and nurture client relationships while

Qualifications

• Qualified Associate Solicitor with 3-7 years PQE in catastrophic loss.
• Experience handling defendant multi-track Catastrophic Loss and Personal Injury matters (RTAs/EL/PL).
• Strong academics and ability to manage large-value claims.

Responsibilities

• Handle a multi-track personal injury and catastrophic loss caseload, assisting senior members on high-value cases.
• Advise clients on liability, quantum and litigation strategy.
• Draft documents, prepare for court and engage in settlement negotiations.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships through excellent service.
• Stay updated on catastrophic injury and insurance law developments.
