Job summary

DWF in Manchester is recruiting an ambitious NQ Solicitor or Solicitor to join the nationally recognised Catastrophic Loss team. The role involves handling multi-track personal injury and high-value cases, including RTAs, EL and PL, with claim values up to £20 million.

The role is hybrid and requires attendance at the Manchester office at least two days per week. You will advise insurers and corporate clients on liability and quantum, draft court documents, and contribute to high-quality service

Qualifications

• PQE range 1–3 years in catastrophic loss or PI.
• Experience in defendant multi-track catastrophic loss and PI cases.
• Strong knowledge of liability and quantum assessment.
• Excellent analytical, organisational and communication skills.
• Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Handle a multi-track personal injury and catastrophic loss caseload.
• Advise insurers and corporate clients on liability, quantum and strategy.
• Draft documents, prepare for court, and engage in settlement negotiations.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships through service delivery.
• Stay updated on developments in catastrophic injury and insurance law.
