Job summary

IGI - International General Insurance Co. Ltd. is seeking a motivated actuarial candidate to assist in catastrophe modelling, exposure management and reporting. You will contribute to monthly Cat exposure roll-ups, data capture and model development alongside a global team.

The role offers exposure to Verisk tools and SQL scripting, with development opportunities in cat modelling methodologies and analytics within a leading international insurer.

Qualifications

• Degree in a scientific or mathematical discipline is required.
• Familiarity with Cat modelling concepts and verbal/written communication skills.
• Interest in insurance and natural hazards with data analysis ability.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Cat Manager with monthly roll-ups of cat exposure and modelling reports.
• Support end-to-end Cat modelling workflows and data capture.
• Develop knowledge of Cat modelling methodologies and Verisk models.
• Capture risks in the Cat model and support the Amman-office workflow.
