Job summary

IQUW Property Insurance is seeking an experienced professional to support our Exposure Management Team in developing analytics for our Natural Catastrophe portfolio. This role requires expertise in catastrophe modelling and data visualization, aiming to enhance the efficiency of our underwriting teams.

The ideal candidate will contribute to robust analytics development and assist with regulatory reporting. Strong programming skills in Python and SQL are essential. We offer a dynamic work environment in Greater London.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in catastrophe modelling for property.
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and critical thinking skills required.
  • In-depth knowledge of catastrophe models' functionality.
  • Experience with large data sets, particularly using Python and SQL.
  • Understanding of Lloyd’s and Solvency II regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver complete portfolio roll-ups for international entities.
  • Ensure understanding of property catastrophe exposure across the business.
  • Communicate with property underwriters regarding model data.
  • Support regulatory reporting and design management systems.
  • Assist in estimating potential losses during events.
