Job summary

Farmfoods is seeking a FLT Reach Truck Driver for our distribution centre in Appleton, Warrington. The role is permanent, full-time, 5 days per week with set shifts and weekend work. You will replenish stock using Reach Trucks, keep records, and comply with health and safety rules.

Job description

We are looking to recruit FLT - Reach Truck Drivers who will be responsible for replenishing stock using an Reach Truck's at our distribution centre in Appleton, Warrington.

We offer a permanent full time position working 5 days from 7 each week, including weekends.

Shift pattern include:

• Day shift - (06:00-14:00)
• Afternoon shift - (12:00-20:00)
• Night shifts - (22:00-06:00)

Pay, working hours & benefits:

We offer an hourly pay rate of £13.69 per hour for day shifts.

We offer an hourly pay rate of £14.85 per hour for afternoon, late and night shifts.

You will be guaranteed a minimum of 37.5 hours work per week for full time positions and if you’re looking to earn a bit more then overtime is regularly available.

As one of our Reach Truck / FLT drivers you will:

• Accurately and quickly replenish stock within the warehouse.
• Keep accurate records.
• Work within the health and safety requirements of the site.

You will need:

• To have previous Reach Truck (FLT) experience and a valid in-date Reach Truck licence.
• To be physically fit as this is a demanding role and you will be expected to achieve productivity targets.
• A friendly, positive, hard working approach to work.
• Although it is not essential, if you have experience of working in a warehouse environment or experience working with manual handling equipment then let us know about it in your application.
