Position: Casualty Liability Claims Handler - Resource Solutions

Location: UK wide, remote working

Type: Permanent

We are seeking experienced Casualty Claims Handlers specializing in Employers Liability (EL), Public Liability (PL), and Injury Claims. This role involves managing claims related to workplace injuries, public liability incidents, and other casualty-related injuries, often on a secondment basis across various teams, providing diverse experience and development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle claims from notification to settlement for EL, PL, and injury claims.
  • Understand relevant insurance legislation and injury claims protocols.
  • Communicate effectively with policyholders, insurers, and contractors, explaining complex details clearly and negotiating settlements.

Skills & Development:

  • Experience managing claims cradle to grave.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Training provided to develop specific skills related to Sedgwick's processes.
