Qualifications

• Caseload handling of EL/PL files essential.
• Previous litigation experience essential.
• Proven ability to meet targets and deadlines.
• Strong advocacy and client communication skills.
• Excellent listening, verbal and written communication.
• High attention to detail and analytical thinking.
• Proficient IT skills and ability to work within guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assess primary and secondary liability concepts in employer and public liability claims.
• Handle matters in line with client SLAs.
• Perform initial reports and set strategy for claim management.
• Review evidence including witness statements, medical records and disclosure.
• Instruct Counsel/investigators/experts as needed.
• Prepare trial bundles and attend conferences and trials with Counsel.
• Ensure compliance with SRA Standards & Regulations.
