Meraki Talent are seeking a dedicated and skilled Casualty Claim Handler to join a leading Glasgow based Insurance firm, with a commitment for integrity and professionalism. We are looking to hear from those with excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for helping people during a challenging time. As a Casualty Claim Handler, you will play a crucial role in managing and resolving claims related to casualty incidents. Daily duties will include:

  • Conducting thorough investigations into reported claims to determine coverage and liability.
  • Communicating effectively with claimants, policyholders, and other relevant parties to gather necessary information and documentation.
  • Analysing policy provisions and interpreting coverage to make accurate claim decisions.
  • Evaluating damages and negotiating settlements within authority limits.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to resolve complex claims efficiently.
  • Maintaining detailed claim files and documentation in compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Providing exceptional customer service and guidance to claimants throughout the claims process.
  • Successfully settling claims, ensuring client satisfaction at all times.
  • Ensuring complaints are dealt with in a professional and timely manner.

Applicants must have gained previous claim handling experience within the Financial Services or Insurance sector. Additionally, applicants must be able to demonstrate excellent customer service experience, with a passion for delivering a first class service.
