Darlington Borough Council invites applications for the Welcome Manager at Hopetown Darlington. You will lead multiple teams across Food & Beverage, Retail, Admissions, Visitor Experience and Housekeeping, delivering outstanding customer service with an energetic, can-do attitude.

The role involves shift work across seven days, with weekends emphasized to keep the visitor experience high. Health & Safety and security of staff and visitors are key, including emergency procedures and first aid

The Welcome Manager team are the face of Hopetown Darlington. Delivering exceptional customer service, you will need to be energetic with an outgoing personality and a 'can do' attitude. Working in a shift pattern across 7 days a week with a focus on weekends to ensure that the visitor experience is always at a high standard across all areas of the site.

Reporting in to the Visitor Experience Manager, you will be responsible for managing several teams of staff including Food & Beverage, Retail, Admissions, Visitor Experience & Housekeeping. Health & Safety & Security of the staff and visitors will be a key area of this role and will include actioning emergency procedures and dealing with first aid incidents.
