Job summary

The Old Town Hall is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Casual Technicians to join our technical team. This flexible, casual role supports a wide range of live performances, events, and community productions; the technician handles setup and operation of lighting, sound, staging and audiovisual equipment, and assists with get-ins, get-outs, and safety.

Job description

We're looking for enthusiastic and reliable Casual Technicians to join our technical team at The Old Town Hall.

This is a flexible, casual role supporting a wide range of live performances, events, and community productions. The Casual technician will be responsible for the setup and operation of lighting, sound, staging, and audiovisual equipment, as well as helping with get-ins, get-outs, and maintaining a safe working environment.

We're looking for people who:

• Have experience with theatre lighting, sound, or stage operations
• Are reliable, adaptable, and able to work evenings and weekends.

This is not an entry level job as you will be expected to provide technical support for shows as the only technician on shift.

For licensing compliance, applicants must be over 18 years of age.
