Nottingham City Council is hiring casual, on-site theatre technicians to support stage, sound and lighting operations at the Theatre Royal and Royal Concert Hall. You will work under senior staff to help deliver performances and events, ensuring safety and compliance with health and safety rules.
Ideal candidates have experience unloading/loading vehicles, knowledge of sound, lighting or stage work, and a genuine interest in technical theatre.

Under the direction of senior colleagues, to perform tasks to support the safe, efficient and effective delivery of stage, electrics and sound, for performances, and events in the Theatre Royal and Royal Concert Hall and associated spaces. To ensure compliance with Health & Safety and relevant legislation.
This post is covered by the statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) (English Language Requirement for public sector workers) and therefore the ability to speak fluent English, is an essential requirement for the role.
