Lingfield Park Racecourse in Lingfield is seeking casual Racing and Event Stewards to join our team. You will be the first and last point of contact for guests, helping with entrances, directions, and delivering welcoming service during racedays and hospitality functions.
We value excellent communication, a clear focus on customer service, and the ability to work weekends. Experience in hospitality and leisure is beneficial; eligibility to work in the UK is required; training and work experience
ARC is the largest racecourse group in the UK, where we race almost every day of the year! We focus on providing wonderful experiences for Raceday visitors, corporate clients and families looking to enjoy our diverse venues.
We are now looking for additional workers to join our team. We value the contribution of all our workers as they are the people who turn our customer experiences from being great to being fantastic!
Please note you will be expected to be flexible to meet the needs of the business and Lingfield Park Resort, working weekends is a requirement.
Customer service is an important element of the duties of a Steward, as they are often the first and last representatives of the ARC racecourse that customers meet during their day at the races. Workers should enjoy interacting with customers; greeting customers upon arrival, helping them to locate the entrances, bidding farewell to customers and informing them of future racedays.
Casual work is a great solution as it enables you to work flexibly around other commitments in your life.Once you have registered your interest, we will contact you in advance to offer you department based shifts at racedays or hospitality functions. There are usually a range of shifts available and opportunities for work are based on busy seasons and the annual racing calendar. Positions will be allocated on the day as part of the briefing.
