Walsall Council is seeking Casual Food Preparation Assistants to help in producing and delivering school meals across the borough. You will perform general kitchen duties, including cleaning equipment, and receive a uniform and access to training.

These roles are non-contractual, allocated on an as-and-when-needed basis to cover peak periods, with hours not guaranteed. A pre-employment health questionnaire may be required, and a DBS check could be needed.

Qualifications

• Candidates must hold or train for the Essential Food Hygiene Certificate.
• Availability to work flexible hours 10:00–14:00, Monday to Friday term time.
• Casual, as and when needed; hours not guaranteed.

Responsabilités

• Assist in production and delivery of school meals.
• Perform general kitchen duties including cleaning of equipment.
• Work across schools and Council buildings within the borough.
