Job summary

Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council is seeking Relief General Kitchen Assistants to support school catering across the borough. This casual, as-needed role offers part-time hours (typically lunchtime) in various school kitchens within the Wath Area.

Responsibilities include food prep, cooking, serving meals, maintaining hygiene and assisting daily operations. Requires a positive attitude, teamwork and a Level 2 Food Safety Certificate or willingness to train.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the preparation, cooking and serving of meals.

• Supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the school kitchen.
