Walsall Council is seeking Casual Food Preparation Assistants to support the production and delivery of school meals across the borough. You will undertake general kitchen duties and cleaning of equipment, with uniform provided and access to training.

Role is non-contractual and hours are allocated on an as-and-when-needed basis, primarily 10.00am to 2.00pm, Monday to Friday during term time. A pre-employment health questionnaire and English-language fluency are required.

Qualifications

• Must hold or train for the Essential Food Hygiene Certificate.
• Pre-employment health questionnaire may be required.
• Fluent spoken English as per public sector language requirements.

Responsabilités

• Support during term-time with flexible hours (10:00–14:00).
