Qualifications

• DBS Certificate (Enhanced) ideally registered with Update Service
• Level 2 Food Hygiene & Safety certificate or willingness to complete online course
• Reliability and punctuality are essential for school lunch timetables
• Friendly, can-do attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in commercial/catering environments is a plus but not required

Responsibilities

• Food Prep: assist the School Cook/Chef with basic prep (veg chopping, salad prep, counters setup)
• Counter Service: serve lunches to students and staff with a smile
• Kitchen Maintenance: wash up, operate dishwasher and keep kitchen clean
• Safety Compliance: maintain high food hygiene standards and follow allergen policies
