Job Title: Sales Assistant at Evans Cycles

As a Sales Assistant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and assisting customers in finding the right bicycles, accessories, and equipment to meet their cycling needs. Your duties include:

1. Customer Service: Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner, answering questions and guiding product choices.
2. Product Knowledge: Develop a thorough understanding of bicycles, components, accessories, and clothing, staying updated on cycling trends and technologies.
3. Sales: Engage with customers to identify needs and recommend suitable products, upselling and cross-selling to meet sales targets.
4. Stock Management: Assist with inventory management, including restocking, checking stock levels, and reporting discrepancies.
5. Cash Handling: Handle transactions accurately, including cash, credit cards, and other payment methods.
6. Merchandising: Support store presentation by displaying products attractively and organized.
7. Safety: Promote and follow safety protocols, ensuring customers are fitted with appropriate safety gear.

This role does not guarantee fixed hours; working hours may vary weekly, and some weeks might offer no hours at all.
