Role: Sales Assistant at Evans Cycles

As a Sales Assistant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and assisting customers in finding the right bicycles, accessories, and equipment to meet their cycling needs. You will work closely with customers, provide product knowledge, and ensure the store maintains a clean and organized appearance.

Note: This role has no guaranteed hours of work; hours can vary week to week, and some weeks may have no hours offered.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Customer Service: Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner, answering questions and guiding product choices.
2. Product Knowledge: Develop a thorough understanding of bicycles, components, accessories, and clothing, staying informed about the latest trends and technologies.
3. Sales: Engage with customers to identify needs and recommend suitable products, upselling and cross-selling to meet sales targets.
4. Stock Management: Assist with inventory, including restocking, checking stock levels, and reporting discrepancies.
5. Cash Handling: Accurately process transactions via cash, credit cards, and other payment methods.
6. Merchandising: Support store presentation by ensuring products are attractively displayed and organized.
7. Safety: Promote and follow safety protocols, including ensuring customers use appropriate safety gear.
