Job summary

Lindt UK is seeking a Casual Sales Assistant for the Glasgow store on a 0 hours contract.

You will work with the team to meet store targets, deliver Lindt Service, greet customers, process transactions, upsell, and help keep the shop inviting and well stocked.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in retail is preferable.

Responsibilities

• Support store management to reach retail targets.
• Provide excellent customer service and greet customers.
• Process transactions accurately at the till and upsell.
• Upsell and offer alternatives to customers.
• Manage queues and assist loyalty programme.
• Assist with deliveries and keep stockroom organized.
• Keep shop floor fixtures full and presentable.
• Monitor gifting levels and best sellers.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service Role

• Work with team and Management to achieve set store targets.
• Be committed to working hours/working pattern.
• Provide excellent standard of customer service.
• When in work always have a can-do attitude
• Have good working relationships in store and be part of the team.
• Greet customers.
• Accurately processing transactions through the till
• Upsell and add on items as well as offering alternatives.
• Effectively manage queues.
• Support team with the Sampling of products and introducing customers to our Loyalty program
• Comply with company Health and Safety policy and procedures, and take associated actions to ensure a safe working environment for all

Delivery / Stock / replenishment Role

• Work with team and Management to achieve set store targets.
• Be committed to working hours/working pattern.
• When in work always have a can-do attitude
• Have good working relationships in store and be part of the team.
• Comply with company Health and Safety policy and procedures and take associated actions to ensure a safe working environment for all.
• Processing deliveries efficiently
• Keep stockroom organized and rotated.
• Keeping shop floor fixtures full
• Clear communication to management regarding low levels / sell ots

VM / Gift Specialist Role

• Work with team and Management to achieve set store targets.
• Be committed to working hours/working pattern.
• When in work always have a can-do attitude
• Reactive positively to change in pace.
• Have good working relationships in store and be part of the team.
• Comply with company Health and Safety policy and procedures, and take associated actions to ensure a safe working environment for all
• Support team in ensuring store always looks presentable and shoppable.
• Build gifting to company guidelines.
• Monitor Gifting levels, best sellers and react appropriately.

What experience you’ll bring

• Proven experience within a retail organisation is preferable, as is a genuine love of all that a career in retail has to offer
• A highly motivated self-starter, with a drive for results
• Excellent interpersonal skills, able to build relationships internally and externally.
• An infectious can do attitude – ready to try new things and enthuse everyone you meet

How you will be rewarded financially

For the position of Casual Sales Assistant, you will be earning £13.45 per hour.
