Job summary

Colchester City Council is seeking a Casual Trainer & Assessor to deliver RLSS UK training and assessments to staff across Leisure Assistant and Swim Teacher teams. You will contribute to maintaining competence, confidence and compliance while supporting the Council's status as an RLSS UK Approved Training Centre.

The role requires a DBS check for the child workforce, and candidates must hold the listed RLSS UK qualifications and training credentials.

Qualifications

• Trainer Assessor Core
• National Pool Lifeguard Qualification Trainer Specialism
• A current National Pool Lifeguard Certificate or Life Support 3
• A current RLSS UK License to Operate membership

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality training and assessments to staff holding RLSS UK qualifications
• Help maintain competence, confidence and compliance across Leisure Assistant and Swim Teacher teams
• Support RLSS UK Approved Training Centre status and collaborate with Training Co-ordinator, Trainer Assessors and Internal Quality Assurers
