Job summary

DoubleTree by Hilton Glasgow Central is seeking a Casual Receptionist to join our team in Glasgow. You will be part of a fast-paced hospitality environment, delivering warm and efficient guest experiences from arrival to departure.

Key responsibilities include handling guest inquiries, upselling hotel services, and maintaining knowledge of room options, rates and packages while ensuring security and safety standards are met. This is a part-time, on-site role with excellent employee benefits.

The Role:

• As a receptionist, you will contribute to the cycle of the guest experience, providing

excellent service from Check-In until Check-Out

• Assist with guest queries in a

timely and efficient manner

• Demonstrate a knowledge of hotel room categories, room rate, packages and other general product knowledge

Maximise room occupancy and use up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and facilities

• Ensuring a

high level of compliance with hotel security, fire regulations and health and safety legislations
