Job summary

DoubleTree by Hilton Glasgow Central in Glasgow is seeking a Casual Receptionist to welcome guests and manage front desk duties. You will be the face of the hotel, ensuring a smooth stay from check-in to check-out and delivering friendly service.

You will handle guest enquiries, know room categories, rates, and packages, and use upselling to promote hotel services. Compliance with security, fire, and health and safety regulations is essential.

The Role:

• As a receptionist, you will contribute to the cycle of the guest experience, providing

excellent service from Check-In until Check-Out

• Assist with guest queries in a

timely and efficient manner

• Demonstrate a knowledge of hotel room categories, room rate, packages and other general product knowledge

Maximise room occupancy and use up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and facilities

• Ensuring a

high level of compliance with hotel security, fire regulations and health and safety legislations
