Job summary

Sodexo Buxton is seeking a Casual Receptionist to greet visitors and support front-of-house operations at our corporate site. You’ll work on a flexible, as-required schedule and be the welcoming face ensuring a smooth day-to-day workplace experience.

The role emphasizes customer service, organisation, and collaboration with internal teams. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications is helpful, and prior client-facing or hospitality experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a client-facing or hospitality role is a plus.
• Positive, energetic and proactive attitude with a passion for exceeding customer expectations.
• Proficient in office software (Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist employees, clients, and visitors with warmth and professionalism.
• Deliver consistent front-of-house operations, including reception, visitor sign-ins, communal areas and meeting room coordination.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to support a seamless workplace experience.
• Host workplace events, client activities, and proactively handle communications.
• Handle incoming communications and ensure messages are delivered accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain a tidy, organized, and presentable office environment.
