Job summary

EDT (Engineering Development Trust) is seeking Casual Programme Workers to deliver STEM education programmes across North East England. The role involves leading workshops, engaging with young people aged 9-18, and supporting a range of school and community activities in person, virtually and during residential programmes.

Flexible work around term time and holidays, with paid travel expenses and full training provided.

Responsibilities

Job description

Casual Programme Worker (STEM Education & Youth Engagement)
  • North East England (Newcastle, Tyne & Wear, Northumberland and surrounding areas)
  • £122 per day (£15.25 per hour) plus holiday pay
  • Flexible work during school term time, school holidays and occasional residential programmes

We are expanding our pool of Casual Programme Workers across the North East to help deliver innovative STEM education programmes, workshops, events and residential experiences for young people aged 9-18.

This is an ideal opportunity for those with experience in:

  • Teaching Assistant or Learning Support roles
  • Community Engagement
  • Coaching or Mentoring
