Grade 2 SCP 4 term time only £13.48 hourly rate

Willows is looking for an experienced driver to drive the school minibus when required. This role is on a casual basis and the ideal candidate needs to be available during term time. Pupils and staff will need to be driven to sporting events and trips. Willows is a busy school with a busy curriculum. We take pride in the amount of events our children experience during their school years.

The successful candidate will:

• Hold a full clean driving license ideally with a D1 category
• Carry out the Staffordshire County Council minibus medical and driving test
• Be a reliable, responsible and safety-conscious driver with a commitment to the welfare of children
• Be flexible and willing to work on a casual basis to support school trips, sporting events and other activities- this may require after school hours working
• Ensure the minibus is operated safely, carrying out vehicle checks and following school procedures
• Have good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Have a friendly, approachable and professional manner when working with children, staff and families
• Demonstrate a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing of all pupils
