Job summary

Norse Transport Division, part of NORSE GROUP, is seeking a Minibus Driver to work at our Kings Lynn depot. You will transport vulnerable children and adults alongside a Passenger Assistant, ensuring safe journeys and a caring service.

Applicants must hold a full, clean Category D1 licence and have good knowledge of the local area. The role may involve lifting wheelchairs and securing items, and requires a cooperative team player with physical stamina.

Qualifications

• Full, clean driving licence with category D1 entitlement.
• Experience driving passenger carrying vehicles preferred.
• Ability to carry out physical tasks as required.

Responsibilities

• Transport vulnerable children and adults to and from destinations with a passenger assistant.
• Provide a caring, tailored service and support wellbeing on journeys.
• Follow safety procedures and manual handling when required.

Norse Transport Division are currently seeking an experienced Minibus Driver to work at our Depot based in Kings Lynn.You will work alongside the Passenger Assistant to transport our vulnerable children and adults to and from their destinations, supporting their wellbeing, providing a caring tailored service and ensuring a successful journey.

The role

As the Minibus Driver you will be responsible for playing a vital role in supporting our vulnerable children and adults in their journey. This is an essential service we operate across Norfolk. You will have hands on experience building relationships with our clients providing a caring tailored service to the local community. This can be a physical role as you will sometimes be required to carry out physical tasks such as lifting wheelchairs or securing items in the vehicle using ratchet straps.

Applicants must hold a full, clean driving licence with category D1 entitlement.
