Job summary

Council of the Isles of Scilly is seeking motivated individuals to support Normandy Pool and community services with a varied timetable.

Ideal candidates hold a First Aid certificate and NPLQ, are at least 16, and can attend monthly training sessions. You must be water confident, capable of swimming 100m front crawl and breaststroke, and able to climb out of the pool unaided. This role is casual/part-time.

Qualifications

• Must hold current First Aid certificate and RLSS NPLQ.
• Candidates must be at least 16 years old.
• Must be available for monthly training and two shifts per month.

Responsibilities

• Attend monthly Lifeguard and First Aid training sessions.
• Commit to a minimum of two shifts per month.
• Deliver lifeguard duties at Normandy Pool and surrounding sites.
