Job summary

Coast and Vale Learning Trust is seeking a casual Assistant Lettings Caretaker to support the premises team across Astrum schools in Redbridge. The role focuses on community lettings, opening/closing facilities, and managing bookings during weekends, with some evenings and school holidays.

The successful candidate will hold keys, work with bookings/equipment, and report to the Estates & Facilities Manager, bringing responsibility, reliability and excellent communication to a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate high level of responsibility and reliability.
• Strong organisational and communication skills are essential.
• Willingness to be flexible with hours, including weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Hold keys to Trust sites and open/close facilities.
• Manage community bookings and equipment for Astrum schools in Redbridge.
• Support community lettings and ensure safe, well‑presented premises.
• Report to Estates & Facilities Manager and maintain site security.
